The boy knows what he needs....

My son fell onto a truck this morning, that he got for Easter and crushed it. It was a flimsy plastic monster truck and he landed smack on the center of it.
He asked me to fix and I told him, it really wasn't fixable. He decide he would wait to ask Dad to fix it.
This afternoon he comes to me and says, "I fix truck. Need a screwdriver and a wench."

Well, when he's right, he's right. There's no better way to get something accomplished than to just let the wench take care of it.

Pirates would have been nothing without their wenches. Nothing.

Meleah: Momo's comment had me and my husband dying! And imagine my tiny 2 1/2 year old telling me he needs a wench. I knew this was blogging gold the minute he said it!

Michael: Tis true!! And apparently I would be said wench! ARRGGG me matey, I'll fix your truck!

Wench...muahahahha! So cute. And I agree that a wench could get 'er done. There are so many things I can't remember about my boys being little, but will always remember how much my oldest one loved cars and trucks and figured out how they all worked. It was amazing. Did you give him what he asked for? Well, a wrench? Did he fix it?

kellypea: I finally found out, that on Easter, he and my Father were fixing his bike (which was hard to peddle, because something was too tight and my Dad, being the Lance Armstrong that he is, is the fixer of all bikes!) and they used a hammer, a screwdriver and a "wench". According to my Father, Riley was taking all the screwdrivers and "wenches" out of the tool box and using every one to fix every bolt or screw on the bike. Boys are unbelievable different then girls....At this point all I had to deal with was Princess's with my daughter. NOT WENCHES!!! LOL!!
